CHARTER ROW / OUR COMMITMENT

Privacy Policy

Your information. A clear explanation.

Effective September 24, 2026 Beta version
Before you get started

Financing is not available during beta. Enrollment records your interest and business details. It does not activate financing or authorize a credit check.

01What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how Charter Row Financial (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information on charterrowfinancial.com, our contractor enrollment forms, and our partner workspace. It also covers business information collected for contractor prospect research.

We are developing a contractor first financing program. We are not a lender. No lending provider is connected, and financing is not currently available. We are not taking consumer credit applications, obtaining credit reports, or submitting your information to lenders through this beta.

02Information we collect

  • Initial contractor inquiry: company name, work email, cell phone number, primary trade, a submission reference, and the version of the contact notice shown to you.
  • Business profile: legal and trading names, year established, business structure, business phone and website, address and service area, contact and owner names and business contact details, sales volumes, average project size, existing financing providers, business needs, and any contractor license number you provide.
  • Account and workspace: your email, email verification and password recovery records, protected password and authentication data, session records, security activity, and project drafts such as a project title, trade, ZIP code, and estimated amounts.
  • Technical information: hosting and security providers may process IP addresses, request times, browser and device information, errors, and delivery or security events. Our application uses a protected IP-derived identifier to limit abusive requests.
  • Business prospect research: public business registrations, filing dates, business and owner names, addresses, trade or license information, publicly listed business contact details, source references, and internal review or contact preferences.

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, bank account details, payment card numbers, or customer credit information. Do not enter those details in forms or project drafts. Share another person’s business contact information only if you have authority to do so.

03When your details are saved

Clicking Continue on the homepage is a submission. Once human verification and the save succeed, your four initial details are stored, even if you do not finish the longer enrollment form. We may contact you by phone or email about that request. This is not consent to a credit check or to unrelated automated marketing.

Typing in the initial fields does not itself send those field values to our intake system. After a successful save, a temporary copy and a lead reference are placed in this browser tab’s session storage to prefill the next page. The prefill expires after 30 minutes and is removed when that page reads it. This removes the browser copy, not the inquiry already submitted to us.

Additional enrollment details are sent when you submit the final enrollment step. Account actions and project drafts are sent when you use their save or submit controls. Separate security services, including CAPTCHA, may receive technical information as the page loads.

04How we use information

We use information to respond to your inquiry, review business profiles, provide beta accounts and project drafts, support the website, research prospective contractor relationships, understand program needs, prevent spam and misuse, and maintain security and operational records. We may also use it to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes.

Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee participation in a future financing program. Any future lender application, credit review, or funding process would require a separate process and applicable notices and authorizations.

05Service providers and sharing

We use service providers to operate the beta:

  • Netlify: website hosting, server functions, form storage, and spam filtering.
  • Neon: the private database for enrollment, accounts, project drafts, and business prospect records.
  • Resend: account verification and password recovery email, including delivery records.
  • Google: reCAPTCHA human verification and Google Fonts on public pages. These services receive browser requests and may process device, browser, cookie, and IP information.
  • Cloudflare: domain and DNS services used to make the website reachable.

Authorized operators can access records needed to run the beta. Other contractors cannot browse your private enrollment through their workspace. Our providers process information needed for their services under their own applicable terms and our arrangements with them.

We do not sell or rent personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect legal rights, investigate abuse, or protect people and systems. A business transfer may involve records, subject to applicable privacy obligations.

Google reCAPTCHA is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

06Cookies, security, and retention

We use an essential session cookie to keep you signed in and session storage for the temporary enrollment prefill described above. Authentication cookies are restricted from browser scripts and sent over HTTPS in production. Blocking cookies or CAPTCHA services can prevent sign-in or form submission. No advertising pixels or separate audience analytics are currently installed. Third-party security services may use their own cookies.

Passwords are stored as salted hashes, not readable passwords. Optional authenticator secrets are encrypted, and verification and recovery records have access and expiry controls. Access restrictions and other safeguards help protect information, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.

We keep records as needed for your request, account, beta operations, security, and applicable legal obligations. Retention varies by record and purpose. Leaving enrollment unfinished does not automatically delete your initial inquiry, and signing out does not delete an account. You can request deletion; some information may need to be retained for security, legal obligations, or resolving disputes, and backup copies may remain until their normal rotation.

07Your choices and requests

You may ask us to review, correct, or delete your personal information, close your beta account, or stop contacting you about contractor participation. We may need to verify your identity or authority before acting. We will handle requests under applicable law and explain relevant limits. This policy does not restrict any privacy rights that apply to you.

For publicly researched business prospects, you can also ask us to correct business details or suppress future outreach. We may retain a minimal suppression record so that your preference is respected. Essential account and security communications may still be needed while you use an account.

08Audience and policy changes

This beta is intended for adults representing businesses in the United States, not children. We do not knowingly seek information from anyone under 18. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied information.

As the beta develops, we may update this policy and its effective date. We will provide additional notice when required by law. Before introducing financing or materially different uses of information, we will provide the applicable notices and obtain any required consent.
